Arun Soni, is also the
author of four series (50 books in total) on computer education for school children and is the recipient of “Distinguished
Author award” by FEPI in Dec 2001. The award was given by Mr. Ashok
Ganguli, chairman CBSE and Mr. Vijay Kapoor, Lt. Governor Delhi.
- First series is The Brain Game (part 1- 10).
The Brain Game-2 also got first prize for the best book among the primary
standard by ‘The federation of educational publishers in India(FEPI),
which is an apex body of publishers from all over the India. This series also
covers the latest CBSE syllabus for class 9th and 10th.
- Second series is Opening New Windows (part
1-10). It covers the latest IT syllabus including Fundamentals, MSWLogo,
Qbasic, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, FrontPage, Access, Foxpro, HTML,
CorelDraw, Photoshop, Internet service and more ....
- Third series is A Course in Computers (part
1- 8). It has been developed according to the guidelines and syllabus provided
by the NCERT. It is a visual and process based series with integrated
projects.
- Fourth series is Computers made Easy (part
6-10) is written according to
the syllabus of Punjab School Education Board.
- Fifth series 'Simple Dose of Computers'
deals with independent modules at two levels (beginner and advance level).
Like, for the topic Visual Basic, there is one book 'Visual Basic for
Beginners' and other is 'Visual Basic at Advance level'. The series
consists of 15 such books.
All series have been
printed and marketed by the ‘Navdeep Publications’, New Delhi. More than 15 lacs students in
reputed schools throughout India
and abroad are studying these books successfully.
